Acumia for people who train managers and HR Role play that carries on after the classroom.

Acumia is the difficult conversation simulator you can build into your leadership, people management and HR courses. Participants practise with virtual employees whenever they like, without actors or a colleague playing the part, and get a report on six criteria after every conversation.

What it brings to your courses

  • Practice between sessions. What you teach in the classroom only sticks with practice. With Acumia participants hold realistic conversations whenever they like, even after the course ends.
  • Role play on demand. No actors to book and no colleagues uneasy in the part: every participant has their own counterpart, even in the classroom and all at the same time.
  • A shared language for the debrief. Empathy, active listening, open questions, non-judgement, trust and transparency, next steps: the six report criteria give the group discussion a structure.
  • Different cases, rising difficulty. Eight situations, from overload to bereavement, and three difficulty levels, from an open colleague to a guarded one.
  • Different roles. Participants practise as HR or as a line manager, with assessment criteria suited to the role.
  • Five languages. English, French, Spanish, German and Italian, for both the interface and the conversation: useful for international groups too.

How it works with a group

The same tools as company licences, working for your classroom.

  • Seats and invitations. Invite participants by email and assign or free up seats when a new course starts.
  • Group data, never individual data. Adoption, number of sessions and average scores, aggregated and anonymous: never the conversations or scores of individual people.
  • Participants choose what to debrief. Anyone who wants to can share their report through a read-only link, valid for seven days and revocable.
  • Your client’s context. With the Executive plan you describe the company you are running the course for, and the virtual colleagues work there.
